1st Syawal 1429H falls on Thursday

The Jangsak fam
The kids and their parents

So, its working day tomorrow ~ hehe.. Now whats interesting about it is that, its my first time hearing that the chinese calendar is wrong, which according to them the eid fitri falls on wednesday. But anyway, im glad its on Thursday. I'm not quite prepared i must say because im not well and i don't have the energy to help my family to move around the furnitures and stuff like that. How about you? are you prepared for the raya?

I'm going to miss Ramadhan for sure. This year its my first time working during puasa hours and the first week was quite tough as i have alot of things to do which requires a lot of energy. So a friend advices me that i won't realise the number of days or weeks of starvation as long as i have something to do each moment.

we have to sit at the open area at the entrance of the Atrium cafe

And apparently he's right. Ramadhan is almost over and it feels like its too short. I mean, time goes by so fast! I skip puasa for one day which was last weekend. That was because i can't stand the body heat that i felt and the flu that i caught and all the itchy allergies. Or else, i would have earned about $31 this month from my dad? ($1 x 31 days) hahaha.. I was just joking around. I missed that!

But i think, kids nowadays is much luckier.. because, as my friend told me. His niece made an "easy-money" as she was given $10 per day if she puasa. Now.. with $300.. i can get myself a lot of things for my Abby!

we had seafood, vegies, lamb, chicken.. you name it... hehe

I've been sungkai-ing out- a lot this time. Especially with my colleagues and sometimes with my schoolmates. Well, atleast i balance my schedule to spend time with the family too. Well sometimes, this balancing thingie is quite hard especially if i have triple invitations for sungkai in one day. Where i remembered during the second week, i was invited to sungkai at Sheraton Hotel and at the same time a friend invited to have sungkai at gadong. And at the same day, mum cooked some special dish at home. So i have to reject two 'extravagant invitations' or else i would be sungkai-ing outside for 14 consecutive days.

ini Abdul Waie sedang minum

Well, i think i only have my sungkai at six different restaurants which is Red Canopy, Le Taj, Fratinis, Pizza Hut, Arthini Restaurant Nasi Kandar and lastly at Empire Atrium which is where i just had my sungkai with my BIG family recently.

The food wasn't too bad, just that i don't eat much lately. Due to my sore throat and cold. During that day of my sungkai outing with the family at Atrium Rest. It was so crowded that we have to sit at the open area near the staircase cause there was lotsa people not only the muslims but also the tourists from Korea if im not mistaken, their slang was kinda similar like Japanese.. but anyway, one thing i don't like about them was that they don't know how to queue for the buffet! All they did was, overtaking everyone skipping the allocated dishes for their preferred dish thats been served at the other end of the table.

But anyhow.. i enjoyed the night. Okay i think this is my first LONG post for i don't know when.. probably quite a few months ago? hehe.. well.. enjoy your day everyone. cheers

Cheezy night at Primo

*Naz happily eating his pizza

A few days ago, i had sungkai at Primo Pizza Hut Mall branch with my colleagues Ash and Naz. At first, we thought that not many people would break their fast there but we were wrong about that.. It was very packed therefore we have to break our fast somewhere else first. So we went up to the foodcourt and we didnt get any seats.. it was fully occupied

And then, we had no choice but to go to West Street Cafe.. we relax for a while till 7pm and then went down again to the Primo. Finally there was one table available for us.

So actually we were helping Ash out to perform a task which was to assess the customer service and quality of the premises and it turned out well.. i don't know why but since we came into the Primo, we were welcomed and treated very well.

We had Tuna Pizza and Beef Lasagnia and it was marvelous.. Just look at Naz expression while he's enjoying his pizza.I hope he don't mind me posting his pictures. (Selamat Hari Raya Bro... Jangan marah ah*). Anyway, we blew our undercover when we showed them the vouchers. Each of them went panic-ing.. HUHU

Naz truly feeling the pizza... lol

ash, the waiter and naz ..

seriously they were shocked when they found out

After Primo, we went to Red Canopy Cafe in Batu Bersurat to complete our work. Fuh.. Finally its done. Well im going to update about it again soon..

BruneiForever Photogs and Manchester United!

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!

the brunei eye performed infront of the audience

the Photogs

So last night, we went to Inderaloka Biru after our sungkai at KTM to watch the football match between Manchester United and Bolton. I again forced myself to stay up till late even though i had to bring a box of tissue where ever i go last night. HEHE...

The place was full of Manchester United fans and we really had a great time. We shout, we laughed, we joke.. it was so lively! Just look at the first picture...bro Zul celebrated right after Man United scored their second goal.

One BIG Happy gang..though we're not complete in the picture but we had fun yesterday. I was quite unwell yesterday but made an effort to attend the sungkai gathering that i have been awaited for quite some time.

The buffet menu was great, especially the mango sweet sour fish Thai style. The place was so packed but luckily we reserved the seats earlier.

Syawal is just around the corner and i can't wait to bring Abby along and capture Syawal's meaningful moments. How exciting!

Birthday boy on his way cutting the cake

The singers for the night

So anyway, there was a karaoke session after terawih.. I didn't get to sing this time as i was enjoying my Nasi Briyani Kambing while listening to Helmi who have the most incredible vocal chord amongst all of us. I mean, he can switch his voice from male to female depending on the song that he sang.. No matter High nor low pitch.. he can do it without hestitation.

I didn't stayed there for long as i had some other plans scheduled earlier.. huhu.. maybe next time cuzen! we gona conquer the mic and sing Brorey Marantika's song endlessly~ LOL

Visiting the Cemetery

Saying a prayer for sham's grand dad.

Sorry for the slow updates again my loyal readers, i've been quite busy recently. So anyway, Last Sunday, my fellow Havoc friends Amiin, Sham and Cybercanon spent the whole morning.. well almost the whole morning visiting three cemeteries.

Cybercanon berdoa'

We begin the expidition around 8am, started with Amiin's side of the family which is at the RIPAS cemetery. After that, we went to Kianggeh Cemetery where Sham and my side of the family are mostly being laid to rest in peace.

Sham and myself at my grandparents tomb

It was my first time following them on such activity that has been carried out annually especially during the month of Ramadhan. We begin each session with the recital of Surah Yassin and then followed by 'bertahlil'.

off for two days

Its been two days that i haven't been blogging and online or even.. switching my laptop on. Im not so busy with work that i can think of... but i'm quite unwell recently. I have this terrible headache for the past few days and also discovered a lump on the neck which causes the painful headache! Not only that, i was also suffering from an on and off fever because of the infection from my throat, the doctor explained.

Staying at home without switching on the laptop, makes me feel so clueless on whats happening out there. I hope that im recovering soon.. raya is just around the corner~ hehe

The Sunrise

See that golden hue
Burning in the west
My dreams are with that color
My dreams are the sun
The sun always sets
But never seems to rise
That sun carries my dreams
Slowly out of my reach
I watch it slide away
Leaving me behind
The color disappears
My dreams are with that sun
Whenever the sun sets
It rises in another place
A place blessed by that light
My dreams are hidden in that light
At my window seat
I watch the sun take it all away
My dreams are with the sun
My dreams are the sun

There will be another outing soon. Those who are interested may contact me or any of the HAVOC members. So, enjoy the pictures yea..
