UFO spotted in Brunei at Bunut

Thanks to Amin and his friend, whom took this video last Thursday 6 August 2009 around 9.30pm onwards. So, Brunei's meteorologist said that its probably a meteor shower that happens annually. BUT after watching this video, i was quite amazed as i thought at first it could be the BRIDEX 2009 practice for the actual day which is on the 12th August 2009. Just look at the video carefully.

A meaningful success

Job Vacancies

Not that i don't have any other pictures to share with you all, but this time i'd like to share with you about taking opportunities. Making the right decision, thinking ahead, dream about tomorrow and at the same time realizing the current situation.

With the current issue of unemployment in our blessed-country, I don't think these youth would bother about the real economic situation. Well to be frank, i was like that before. Like, being spoon fed all the way. We would call it as being too "manja"(spoiled brat) too depending on being provided free facilities and services.

Free facilities and services? Hmm.. What i mean is like our parents is providing us everything. A place to stay, A car to drive, Food to fill our tummy, Pocket Money and so on. Just imagine how they really take care of us, LOVE us so that we wouldn't do bad stuff like taking drugs etc.Willing to sacrifice a lot, like taking loans for our education for example. What i understand in Europe or the West, parents charge their child who are above 18 for their accommodation if they're still living with their parents. But Im very Thankful that our parents doesn't charge us event one cent, which we SHOULD be very thankful of.

So why should we be very egoist, being an ignorant, complaining all the way and proud of something like this, when we are not making any effort ourself? We as the children of our parents should put in mind that we have to make an effort and build our own path to our own success. Eventhough we have the advantage of using our parents name (where they have reached to the top with their own sweat) but wouldn't we like to be known for our own success? And with that success that we build, the same thing that we are going to pass on to the next generation. Think about that.

Work life is not easy. Well, who say that working is not stressful? what i know is that every work/job is stressful. And we just have to learn on how to control it. Seriously, based on my experience i do have the feelings of wanting to quit working but to think of it, that's not a wise move. Never think that youre too smart nor too dumb. Always learn to decide whats best for you and your family and your future path.

Therefore, to my fellow readers, family, friends. I have a quote that i heard from someone who have just passed away that's been read by his family member during the funeral service. It goes like this "You can dream the future, but today is today"

I hope, this article wouldn't offend anyone, its just a thought from me that i would like to share.

**Message: Article inspired by the true situation and the BDTVEC results thats just been published for intake 2006-2008 of Business School. Congratulations to all of my friends.

The Alternative

tamron17-50mm f/2.8
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 for Canon, BND$7xx (round off figure)

Well, i don't know whats the outcome of the pictures that i took for my client this morning. But really, my 17-55mm f/3.5 IS USM lens is R O S A K. Opps.. did i just said it loud.. I've been looking for other alternative last night just to borrow a lens but luck wasn't on my side last night.

I've been holding my gears for nearly a year and it failed on me on my appointment day. Terrible innit? Many have asked what had happened with the lens, well it seems like most of the bff who is using Canon 400D and Canon 450D have the similar problem. so i was quite lucky to have FULL-USED my Abby@the camera.

Hard core usage? or GANAS as said by my good'ol friend Cybercanon. I was thinking of flying to Singapore for just a day tomorrow to send off my lens to its supplier (lol, mcm beduit banar saja)

So most probably im looking forward to get this lens Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 canon mount. A good focal range that suits my usage and the winning point is the aperture, 2.8 where i can use it for indoors with low lighting..

Lens oh Lenses...

70-200mm
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM

I know ive been posting these two lenses this week.. Im just stressed out and pissed at the moment. My Kit Lens 18-55mm f/3.5- IS is making me nuts .. Since last night, the auto-focus mechanism doesn't seemed to work at all... Im really pissed! PISSED!

Canon 24-70mm USM
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM

With this kind of pressure, i feel like using the credit card to get these sophisticated Luxury lens. Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM and Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM. Both are about BND$3,000.. Which i don't think its a good idea for me to get into financial trouble in any times..
Sigh, i just wish these lens appear infront of me right now... Its just so F*****g frustrating..

Natural defragmentation

The sea towards the south

It's been a while since my last post and i'm really sorry for that. Thank you for your support that i'm still here with Abby@EOS450D. I've been really busy during my last 2 weeks of holiday.

I'm still in Brunei though, didn't go anywhere. Just been busy doing some freelancing duties. Well, i was basically at home for these past few days.. Flu and Fever..It really spoiled my few days of holiday. HEHE

But Alhamdulillah, im recovering now.

Here's the two pictures that i took today (Saturday 17th January 2009) at Tungku Beach. Went there in the late afternoon with my friend who's eager to learn about taking pictures too.

We didn't take much as the weather was very windy and the current was very rough. So to conclude the day.. heres the last picture that i took..

engraved

Once again, thank you to my loyal readers, friends and some families for your support.

Selamat Tahun Baru Hijrah 1430

Assalamualaikum and hello to my loyal readers, family and friends. I'd like to wish you selamat tahun baru hijrah 1430. Time really fly so fast, in just a couple of days we will step into the year 2009. So any new resolutions people? Well, im looking forward for it.. more challenges and greater experience~

So heres a few inspiring thoughts that i took from a website.

Fixing the Network

Assalamualaikum and hello to my loyal readers, visitors. It's been a while since i've blogged about things. As you can see, i also did not upload pictures so often too. Not of because of any policy(The rights to published the pictures)
But its simply because of two things.
(a) Been busy with work
(b) My laptop is cracking up.

I have a lot of pictures pending/ to be posted at Marriz-Scene. And i can't stand the slow-ness of my laptop when i process the pictures. So at the moment, i've been thinking of either to get a new working station or just, back-up my files and reformat my laptop. Its just so ... BLERGH!

Now, let us just forget about that and move on to the next agenda. I'd like to say Thank You to Amar and Amin who have appointed me to be the admin for their blogspot. Well, i was supposed to managed their page since long time ago~ but im really sorry for my un-productive task! =D
I'll try to sort things out by December insyaAllah.

Next is about my internship programme: i'm only left with one more month to complete my internship programme. For 5 months, i feel like really attached to the company and i'm really enjoying it (as said by the CEO) They really took care of me very well! I gain about five (5) kilo's (which is 1 kilo for each month) Not that i'm too relax, but i've not been eating in orderly with the eating schedule since then.. Besides that, I've learned a lot of things =D .

I've been placed at the Corporate Marketing & Communication and also being pulled to the InfoCom Federation Brunei in the secretariat where I've learned a lot of ideas, values from all sorts of managers that you can find in Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Korea, India and i feel very lucky to be in this arena. Though, may most of my respected friends said my work is very hard. I think its freaking awsome!

So, my work is mostly dealing with Information Technology in Brunei Darussalam. Where as my background is in Business and Finance. But what i can apply here is in terms of management and a few of technical skills. Which i may say its a value added skills that i obtained from Marriz-Scene and my fellow companions.

It is very interesting to be in this field as i have the opportunity to help not only the company, but also the country to develop the ICT industry in our beloved country. Cool innit? Here i'd like to greet a special thanks to my primary-school friend (whom i came across in the company) for teaching me a lot of IT stuff. I'm starting to learn encoding and decoding now! HEHEHE

From the case i have stated above, it came to my understandings that i have missed a lot of interesting things that had happened throught my busy-ness. To mentioned a few, i missed the recent seminar that took place at UBD chancellor hall, conducted by Brunei's top bloggers yesterday. Well, atleast my fellow partners managed to register their names and attended the very first bloggers seminar.

Oh yes, not to forget. We Havoc Bloggers didn't managed to attend our customers yesterday which we had promised (opening every saturday at incubator 3) We will be in the premises on Tuesday 25 November 2008. Sorry jrs!

Anyhow, i'd like to express my sincere apology for those who have been waiting for their pictures here at Marriz-Scene. I know trying to explain the hardship is not to the standard, but its best for mutual understandings. As i have learned from one of the best inspirational person; " If you want the community to be success, you must share and be able to learn and not being selfish"
