The Adorable little Rascals
Its good to bring your little nephews and nieces for a movie night out once in a while =D. I thought it would be pretty difficult to bring six kids around especially to a BIG shopping complex/ mall. Last night was my second time bringing them to watch movie, BOLT. Well, my parents joined the movie night out to and my other two nephew and niece(teenagers).

Fixing the Network
Assalamualaikum and hello to my loyal readers, visitors. It's been a while since i've blogged about things. As you can see, i also did not upload pictures so often too. Not of because of any policy(The rights to published the pictures)
But its simply because of two things.
(a) Been busy with work
(b) My laptop is cracking up.
I have a lot of pictures pending/ to be posted at Marriz-Scene. And i can't stand the slow-ness of my laptop when i process the pictures. So at the moment, i've been thinking of either to get a new working station or just, back-up my files and reformat my laptop. Its just so ... BLERGH!
Now, let us just forget about that and move on to the next agenda. I'd like to say Thank You to Amar and Amin who have appointed me to be the admin for their blogspot. Well, i was supposed to managed their page since long time ago~ but im really sorry for my un-productive task! =D
I'll try to sort things out by December insyaAllah.
Next is about my internship programme: i'm only left with one more month to complete my internship programme. For 5 months, i feel like really attached to the company and i'm really enjoying it (as said by the CEO) They really took care of me very well! I gain about five (5) kilo's (which is 1 kilo for each month) Not that i'm too relax, but i've not been eating in orderly with the eating schedule since then.. Besides that, I've learned a lot of things =D .
I've been placed at the Corporate Marketing & Communication and also being pulled to the InfoCom Federation Brunei in the secretariat where I've learned a lot of ideas, values from all sorts of managers that you can find in Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Korea, India and i feel very lucky to be in this arena. Though, may most of my respected friends said my work is very hard. I think its freaking awsome!
So, my work is mostly dealing with Information Technology in Brunei Darussalam. Where as my background is in Business and Finance. But what i can apply here is in terms of management and a few of technical skills. Which i may say its a value added skills that i obtained from Marriz-Scene and my fellow companions.
It is very interesting to be in this field as i have the opportunity to help not only the company, but also the country to develop the ICT industry in our beloved country. Cool innit? Here i'd like to greet a special thanks to my primary-school friend (whom i came across in the company) for teaching me a lot of IT stuff. I'm starting to learn encoding and decoding now! HEHEHE
From the case i have stated above, it came to my understandings that i have missed a lot of interesting things that had happened throught my busy-ness. To mentioned a few, i missed the recent seminar that took place at UBD chancellor hall, conducted by Brunei's top bloggers yesterday. Well, atleast my fellow partners managed to register their names and attended the very first bloggers seminar.
Oh yes, not to forget. We Havoc Bloggers didn't managed to attend our customers yesterday which we had promised (opening every saturday at incubator 3) We will be in the premises on Tuesday 25 November 2008. Sorry jrs!
Anyhow, i'd like to express my sincere apology for those who have been waiting for their pictures here at Marriz-Scene. I know trying to explain the hardship is not to the standard, but its best for mutual understandings. As i have learned from one of the best inspirational person; " If you want the community to be success, you must share and be able to learn and not being selfish"

DST Group Carnival: Saturday Night
Last night, spent half of my Saturday night at DST carnival that's been going on since last Friday. Only equipped with 50mm lens, i limit myself from taking alot of close ups. Anyhow, the Carnival was okay, nothing much impressive with the stalls but the entertainment was great. I managed to take a close up of MTV's DJ with the 50mm. =p
The place was so packed with people of different ages. Well, pretty much a lot of teenagers and the little ones enjoyed the performances.
What i like is the dance performance by The Project Tunes and the other one is erm.. i forgot from where. But yes, they were awesome.
Follow up from the MTV reality show production called I Bet You Will, Brunei got the chance to be in the show too! Now, this fella was dared to wear woman's clothes, make-up, wearing a wig and then, was asked to do a cat walk.
MTV's Dj Utt first appearance during that night at the Kristal Fm booth with the Kristal Fm's DJs. And i was pretty lucky to take this shot! Everyone, especially the girls are so crazy about him alright (i had to struggle my way to take this pic). =p
i met a few friends of mine who is currently attached to DST HQ =)
Lucky dip~ Speaking of lucky, i wish i was that person who won a lucky draw which the prize was the Acer Laptop with the Go!Broadband modem and Go Broadband starter pack. Urgh, im so in need of a new laptop with SPEEDY internet connection. =x.
Overall, i pretty much enjoyed my saturday night. I hope theres more to come, and next time. I'd love to try out the FlyingFox! =D

Havoc Photo Show: Part Three
Its always on Saturday! Now, 8th November 2008 was our third day of our showcase. It didn't ran as expected because there were only two laptops to showcase the pictures. And only two of us was showcasing the pictures.
The lovebirds being eyed by the brother from behind! HAHA
I advise those who have not collected their pictures for the first batch to collect them during our next showcase. I'm very sorry to those who have been asking for their pictures from the 2nd batch orders. I can't proceed due to the pending picture collection and payments.
And sorry to those who have been waiting for their soft copy, as we have mentioned earlier on, we will give you the soft copy (for those who have ordered their pictures) once everyone has completed on ordering their picture.InsyaAllah

Korea and its technology
Last Thursday, we had an IT forum held at the Bunkers, Empire Hotel and Country Club! Boy i'm so glad that its over. I didn't get much photos though i hope this is enough for public viewing. Thanks to Nazree for taking a few pictures for me.
I like the idea of IPTV here in Brunei. This is one of the technology that they introduced the other day and i was quite impressed with the system. But to run this IPTV, We need a very good, stable bandwidth (internet) connection. Just imagine, in Korea, they can download 1GB songs in just 30 seconds. Now thats what i call ZOOOM! or e-SPEED! =p
This fizzy drink cost us $6. Sure we know how to spoil ourselves! after a very stressful day..EHEHE

Sunday is my holiday: At the Neighbour's
Sunday is my holiday. HEHE. Well today, i brought Abby to my neighbour's doa selamat function, just for the fun of it. Sadly i only snap a few pictures and some of them are a bit dark. I still need to practise on outdoor photography. I find it quite difficult to view the picture on the display/ screen when under the sun.. So i was totally depending on the white balance meter to snap some outdoor pics.
So yea, i met a couple of familiar faces there including this person below. (atleast i'm not bored) Wasn't properly introduced, we started to talked about d-SLR's straight away. HEHE.. (nice to meet you DEAN^KRABAU**)
What's best about the function... was this ice cream van! Its quite rare to see this at functions. This is what i call "tekad pemendulian orang ramai" HEHEHE
Thank you neighbour's for the invitation =D
