Assalamualaikum everyone, i know this post may put me into trouble.. but i just want to share some thoughts. Actually i was pissed today, early in the morning when i was about to approach the car after i got out from the Immigration Building, all i can think of at that certain moment was "stupididiot parking!" So i took some shots of today's "parkingidiots" that i encountered.

Don't scroll down first. Let me tell you some "sweet memories~" happened about one and a half month ago. When "The Marriz-scene mobile" got unlucky. It wasn't totally "mengampai ke jalan" nya orang Brunei. The height of the car were just nice with the 17" wheels. And the Rim's Bolt/ Nuts were changed to a better and reliable nuts to keep the rims tight. And the nicely done tinted which is not too dark (people can still see if you poke your nose) which is just to make the car cooler if kept under the sun.

Performance wise, it is stable and easy manouvering at corners.. "safer" i can say.. which i don't know why it is an offense here in Brunei. I don't get it when the Land Transport Officer says that it isn't safe to drive a modified car. Well.. MODIFY means to change, adjust, transform. and they should see whether the modification are with safety features or not. Then only they should act if the modified car is "over-modified" ..

Whats funny is about the tinted thingie.. I laughed when the Land Transport officer said "Tinted can cause accidents" and i said.. How come? and she replied "because of the low light that passes through the glass which can make the driver can't see.." and i just smiled on... what an answer! how ridiculous is that?! Why certain cars can have tinted and some cant?

I bet, those who modified their cars are more careful during on the road. cause come to think of it, why would they want to wreck their car after spending thousands of thousands of dollars! I don't think that i would risk my life or waste my money and simply wreck my car! The LTD should think of the other way round.. like finding the "why" so many un-modified cars always involved in accidents. . You should check out the"BG" car-yard located at the 'old-airport' and see how many wrecked benz you can find! Its really sad to see.. whats more sad is that.. The drivers are a professional TRAINED drivers! yet so many wrecked BG cars..

It's 2008 now! car-makers are competing with each other to build fast cars! AND of course with a standard SAFETY FEATURES like airbags, aircurtains, multi layer windscreen etc! So maybe the Land Transport should make some amendments and learn the physics of every vehicles and its accessories to understand them better..So that it would be easier for them to control the imports of car accessories?!
