The "bling-bling" Dagger

A tradition for all Malay wedding ceremony. The Groom must bring along his dagger as a symbol of his authority towards his wife. Well, i don't really know the exact story but i guess back in the old days, they use this as a weapon to protect their wife from being snatched/kidnapped by their competitor, as i heard.

Tempat duduk raja sehari

Okay, this is the continuation of Pg Kamarul & Huda's wedding day pictures that i took. At first, the ceremony started at the Muhibbah Hall, located just across the Electrical Department building. This is where the Groom was seated right before the groom being brought to the bride.

Steam Boat at TK Seafood Center

Few weeks back, that was on the 24th of April 2009 to be precise. The family decided to have the dinner at the TK seafood house. One of the best seafood center in Brunei. And yes, it is owned by the same owner of TK tea & curry house the one that you can find in Gadong area.

The Chef's, birthday boy (R) with big brother (L) preparing the steamboat.

But this TK seafood center is situated in Jalan Muara Berakas, Kg Sungai Hanching. Its been there for more than ten years as i remembered i used to go there several times during my young age. There's some speculation saying that its a non-halal restaurant. Well im no pro in commenting about that but what i know is that they don't serve any non-halal meat.

Yes, we need two table for the 5 of us.

The cook isn't so bad, its very delicious and the price is very reasonable. So if you plan to bring your family, friends there. I can recommend you the steamboat, grilled fish or stingray. And no, i don't get paid for promoting this restaurant. LOL
