MARRIZ GOING TO MTSSR TOMORROW (8 April 2008)

Hello readers, sorry i haven't updated my blog yet. Hopefully will update of my Monday activities.

Just would like to share with you that I'll be stepping my foot to MTSSR tomorrow morning to assist Hiero's presentation. It's an all technical college language presentation competition which is annually held at MTSSR.

B.Mobile Road show at Centerpoint

LAST DAY OF B.MOBILE'S ROADSHOW AT THE CENTERPOINT

Sunday, I went to the B.Mobile's roadshow that was held at The Centerpoint Gadong for three consecutive days since last Friday 4th April 2008. It's kinda similar with the one near Cheez Box cafe at The Mall, but this one is quite special. Not just promoting their latest ZOOM! internet broadband service, but they have also prepared various activities such as lucky draw, spin the wheel and win prizes, colouring contest and many more to attract their loyal customers.

Not forgetting their main attraction was the Indonesian Artiste (namely Bobby, Donita, Alexandrea) that was specially flown to promote B.Mobile's latest products and services. Also performing during the afternoon show was Brunei's local artiste Zul'F. I bet atleast thousands of people mobbed to the venue to meet their idol just now. It was really packed until the ballroom was no longer cool. I didn't get to take pictures of the artiste during the autograph session with the fans as i can't stand the overcrowded area.

Marriz unfortunate Saturday

BACK TO THE TIRE SHOP

An unfortunate Saturday for me. I woke up early, and went to the clinic near by my house. I had a terrible dry cough now and i don't have any medication for that. So anyway, while searching for a parking space, i heard something like a *POP* sound. And then, i heard something *TICK-ing* so i stop by and look at my tire and i saw this screw on my tire! So i went straight to the tire shop where i used to go, this is to prevent the tire from being over-damaged*experienced* HEHE.. you know, the earlier you bring it to the "doctor" the better right?

I've been in and out of this shop for atleast once a month this year. And i think my tire expenses for this year is already about a hundred dollars. *sigh*

MARRIZ SEEKS FOR A DOCTOR

So after that, went to a private clinic instead. Cause i can't stand waiting so long with my ailing condition. So I've been prescribed with a cough, flu tablet along with antibiotics for my swollen throat. This is the private clinic where i used to go when i was a kid. A second option of the government clinic and i think Borneo Clinic is one of the best private clinic in Brunei. . .cheers everyone

MARRIZ CAUGHT A FLU

Okay, i know its inappropriate to post these pictures. HAHA But yeah, i can't stand this. Its getting worse every hour especially during sleeping time. I can't sleep last night due to my running and blocked nose ERGH. I have so many work to do, especially for my business project group report that needs to be submit to my General Manager by Saturday which is tomorrow. But i haven't start anything yet. And then i have to complete the presentation slides for the business project report. But before that, i also need to do my Marketing assignment report and slide presentation which is due in three days time. Hopefully i get better by tomorrow.*menadah tangan.. Aminn*

Today, just went out during the afternoon, met Mirez and later on joined Wali and Amin at Gadong Properties for a while to catch up with their fishing activity. They're going to the sea this Sunday*excited* and i wish i could join them if i'm feeling better by tomorrow! HEHE i haven't fished for quite a long time since Amin broke his foot few month ago.

A NIGHT WITH ZUL@REALBRUNEI & CYBERCANON@HERMAN

To start off, Let me greet everyone a pleasant day and night. HEHE i had a flu (complete with running nose) today when i woke up in the morning. I must have got it from Hiero who had flu earlier..*grins*. Okay, last night i went to Blue Eden with RealBrunei@zul and CyberCanon@herman239. I had fun playing with zul's Nikon D40x, experimenting the ISO and Flash and the Shutter speed. I bet people in the shop got annoyed last night with the flashes. HAHA

CyberCanon@Herman239 got so excited to blog until he had left his food unattended for atleast ten minutes. But we really did enjoyed the night. Next time lagi zul, cana?

MARRIZ MAKING VISITS TO ST ANDREW'S & SOAS COLLEGE

Since i had flu today, i didn't attend my classes therefore i decided to make a visit to my beloved old school which is St Andrew's School. I've been educated there since kindergarten to secondary five 2004. I was really happy to see THE NEW St. Andrew's today with their new principal Ms Jane Keasberry. I met her when i had my tour. Good to see that big improvements been made. The school looks really organized now. *sigh.. i want to be one of the board of directors of this school one day* After visiting St Andrew's, went to SOAS college where hiero was before.

Took this picture behind the Labour Department Building which is opposite of the LEGCO. I wanted to go in but the gate was closed. This is where all of the ministers gathered and express concern and the people's point of view to be voiced too. It is also known as a Parliament building.

CAR ENTHUSIAST MALAY STYLE MOVIE 2008

I watched movie today, titled EVOLUSI KL DRIFT 2008. Co-star was Yusof Haslam's son(who is also the director of the movie) and the lovely Fasha Sandha. I can say its not a bad movie at all. Just that the camera movements isn't that smooth like TOKYO DRIFT. And the sound effects of the car is kind of "not sync with the scene." The movie is based on a drifter messes up with the Drug gangster and at the end got his friends(the drifter's friends) hurt/killed because of his ego attitude. You all should watch it. I think it's better than IMPAK MAKSIMA.

Marriz Wednesday Activity April 2nd

BEGINNING OF THE END FOR THE BUSINESS PROJECT 2007-2008

Brilliant souffle is the name, you'll love it! is our slogan. It was at first started on the 31st July 2007 for the college activity for the year two student having a chance to manage a business. Well, this is a tradition when you're in the year two. It's kinda course training for us. Being the General Manager for the first term was a challenge for me as i have to straighten up the enterprise management. What's more tougher is that i was also known as the "voice for all of the business project groups" or the proper word is the Chairman of Business Project 2007-2008 or as well as the secretary. I became the Assistant General Manager around November 2007 and let Suserena Hj Hashim as the General Manager and also automatically became one of the Board of Directors for the business project 2007-2008. Alhamdulillah, almost everything was a success. The launching went well and most of the business project groups co-operate with each other. So, i advice for my juniors which is going to be doing this soon, to work together (good communication) and make the school proud.

Anyway, wednesday is the day we conduct our business activity but as for today, all of the year two business project students were asked to be in the Lecture Theater by the Coordinator of Business Project year 2007-2008, for a short meeting regarding making the overall business project activity's report and slide presentation which will be held within this month. This will mark the end of the Business Project 2007-2008 batch.

TERRIBLE COLLISION BETWEEN A CAR AND A MOTORIST

It was around 2pm when i passed by this terrible scene today at the small road near the electric station in gadong.Looks like the white car ran over the motor-biker which ended him(the biker) had minor injury. The motorbike was totally wrecked and the car only had a punctured tire and a little damage to its front bumper.

A HOT DAY, A HOT LECTURE THEATER

Yup! he's sweating alright! This was during our combined statistics class, usually we had the combined class at the student centre but because theres a test going on in the student center, we have to use the Lecture theater which, the central air-conditioner wasn't working for three months now! Very inconvenience huh..

But no matter how hot the room is, class still goes on . . . That's our statistics lecturer doing subsets for the topic; probability.And on the top left is the central air-conditioner. Everyone was so sleepy and sweaty i guess.. I wonder how long will this be going on?

Back to school on Monday!

BACK TO COLLEGE.. AND MALL IS OURS!

Schools re-opens yesterday and i can say, almost all students of SP mob to The Mall gadong. First day of the school was quite boring i can say. Everyone was still in their holiday mood, besides its monday blues too.. Anyway, this is my first time witnessing the latest IT expo. Seriously, actually i got bored of the same expo again and again. In the afternoon, went chilling at Herman239's house.

MEETING BRUNEI FOREVER

Okay, this was a coincidence. I didn't expect them to be at their usual chilling place. So i met a few of the Brunei Forever members, CPS, SOuLJaH and zul and the few others which im not yet familiar with (hehe sorry guys.. would like to meet you all again soon). Enjoyed the night even though Hiero and i haven't went home to change clothes.

Sorry for the late posting. I had a very tight schedule last sunday and monday(yesterday) my laptop went crazy. HAHA The antivirus cant scan the laptop due to a powerful virus mingling around the system, so it has to reboot and scan the system manually.

Anyway, last sunday i woke up early as i had promised Herman239 and the CarQuest manager to come early to the shop and have breakfast at Jhin Chiew. So i saw the BruneiForever members with their dSLR on their hands*excited* And then we went back to CarQuest again to help the manager to install loudspeakers at Herman239's car. And as usual, in the afternoon we went to Serasa Beach. Owh.. and the picture quality is quite bad that day, i wonder why..
