Monday; having assessment for language and communication subject for one and a half hours. its a very busy month for us because there's a lot of dead-lines to meet for passing up our assignments, class work and phase tests. we are going to have business accountings test again on tuesday 18.3.08*sigh* . Anyway, after the language test, we headed to the cafeteria which i rarely go to. It's really nice to see most of the college population having their "breakfast" here in the cafeteria. The cafeteria is also open to public, so if you have time, you may try the food here.

Three local band were invited namely the famous A BAND ONCE; DEVINE INTERVENTION and 3 ACT TRAGEDY; to play some music to entertain the guests.

Unlucky; this car which is belongs to Ozzy, was smashed by the ball that went off the field. The authority should think of putting up tall fence or net to avoid the ball from getting loose from the field.

seriously, the smoke was so thick till the wind blew it towards our college. i think the fire started around 10.30am as a friend told me that he got stuck in gadong. the last picture was taken from West Street cafe. you can see that the road was blocked to avoid traffic congestion.

BUSINESS SCHOOL TURNS 3 YEARS OLD

An event was held on the 8th of March 2008 at Asma Hotel and was organized by the 2nd year secretarial students. A ten day planning for them which turns out to be an OK OK event. To make the evening not a dull one; there was performance live band named Altitude' contributing ten songs. The school own singing bird; Adibah Hj Alias also performed last night with two malay songs. And other activity such as Guess the number of sweets in the container; lucky draw and 'treasure hunt'. \m/ not to forget, also there was a best dress contest.

Sorry; my picture quality from my cybershot isn't so good. sigh. and i was the only CYBERSHOT*i think* who was very active like the other photogs' went table to table to take pictures. haha *damit rasa ku sama yang pakai dSLR camera/ kana buli pulang rasaku hehe*
But i enjoyed it. Thank you to one of the cameraman who helped me with my camera settings.

THURSDAY MORNING FOR B.S STUDENTS

Today, something NEW happened at our BELOVED college. Conducted by the students welfare officer Hjh Zaiton early this morning, a check-point was set up at the main entrance to catch the LATE COMERS.Personally i think that it is a good idea as it will discipline students to come early. BUT why NOW? why not start this for the new intake or new semester?

STATISTICS..OH STATISTICS...

We had STATISTICS the whole morning.. well almost the whole morning. We had an hour class with the Japanese lecturer and then an hour and a half for combined classes. Just now, we had a short test just to get us familiar with the questions that would be come out for the upcoming Statistic Phase Test 1 which will be held this saturday afternoon. Im still not ready with it. As you can see pictures above; was taken just now before entering the classroom for our short test.

We had a combined lecture class today and these pictures are taken by using my VGA camera phone. We were revising about the TIME SERIES in a simplest method; thought by the Japanese lecturer which most of us went blur at certain part of the explanation. So.. before lunch we had a mind game which are related to mathematics. But before that; ili asked the lecturer one personal question

ili: sir, can you tell us why do you like math so much?

Lecturer: before, i have no friends when i got into the high school; so i always put my
head down every morning. BUT then one day .. when i looked at the door..
there was this beautiful lady entered the room. AND she teaches
mathematics.

Everyone laughed when he told us that.. then he continued "so i tried to communicate with her. Every time she asked question; i always raise up my hand and answer it. so from that time onwards i like maths." said the lecturer.

All of us were still laughing about what he just told us. then again he continued "one time i saw her on a swimming pool with a guy and a child, i was so frustrated as i didn't know she was married" the lecturer explained with emotions on his face. And he told us that he didn't memorize for maths, but just THINK REASONABLY and we will get the answer. and he also have about 3000 mathematic books at home. AND we were amazed. NOW.. thats alot of MATHS book .. *sigh.. shakes head*

Anyway.. went to the BOOK FAIR at ICC this afternoon during the Marketing period as advised by our Group Coordinator.Boii` the place was crowded with kids mostly from ugama schools. The Book fair isn't very interesting at all.. it looks the same to me and mostly the books are written in Bahasa Melayu. And the last years magazines(fashion, gadgets etc) that were not sold out, was on the book shelf's too.. and they sell it for $2.each =p

YUP; NO LIGHTS at almost all of the shops on THIRD floor of THE MALL gadong. I was with Haadi on our way to WEST STREET when this happened. Luckily the cafe wasn't affected.

I think lately, I've been having my lunch at West street cafe. Prolly because of the relaxing, cool environment. AND i think this is the favorite place for young teenagers to chill with friends. Hmm..

NO MORE QUESTIONS; JUST ATTEND THE FUNCTION!

Early monday morning; the class assistant representative make an announcement that everyone must attend the school's function or no allowance for next month. And Hadi and i was thinking so hard to make such statement, A JOKE.
"PAY $13 *cheap price only..* you can get $155/$255(students allowance) in return wat..."

So, saturday night 1st march 2008 i was at my aunt's house for doa selamat after my uncle had a surgery last few weeks ago and also to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. The food was awsome! especially the mutton; cooked by my cousin. But i had a very painful headache which i have to cancel the other two invitation on the same night. Sorry Sai for not able to attend your delayed birthday celebration. And also CarQuest Audio System & X Punch audio's BBQ night.

Saturday morning, my class had a small class activity under Language and Communication unit. We were performing a meeting about the problems during the consultation week and solutions that can be done to make the consultation week better in the future. This kind of activity is to train us on how to make a proper meeting with; by using "Meeting Language".

WHAT WE DO WHEN WE HAVE NO CLASS?

Yesterday was a meeting held in the conference room between the organizers of the school's anniversary celebration and all of the class representatives. It is believed that students have to pay the ticket even though they did not want to attend the function. BUT there's some kind of penalty to those who did not attend the function. Therefore students were advised to come to give support the event that is organized by the year 2 secretarial students. *siapa masih karas kepala kan nda dtg.. hehe good luck lah*
