Grand Firework display on a clear night

So i joined the BFF for the fireworks outing, strange that the night was really clear in bandar. We waited for the fireworks to lit up and it was so grandis! Colourful and all.. But most of the pictures that we took are spoiled by the thick white smokes from the fireworks. There were totally no wind to blow the smokes away from the beautiful displays. Oh well, its better than nothing.. hehe this is for you

Business For A Day @ Business School

Business For A Day experience for the first year students of ND Business & Finance Students also the secretarial students. Usually held at the end of their first semester, the students are given about a month to prepare on their business proposal for the one day activity of trading.

Given the opportunity to experience on how to manage a business, the students are able to learn the basic management of a business for example, team management, customer service, financial management and not forgetting cleanliness.

I still remembered during my time that was about three years ago, where 247 Avenue (the group name) managed to be one of the best performing group blab bla bla.. I better stop! Hehe

Well, I didn’t managed to come to the first business for a day last Thursday, to whom it may concerned, I was very ill which stops me from going anywhere but to the toilet.(hehe)

I didn’t buy anything from today’s business for a day, cause I still have the fear of eating outside food. Sorry Juniors, didn’t get to taste your nyummy looking food! A Tradition during Chinese New Year

Lucky Sunday, the Fang Shui was in the air this morning when i went to get my studio lighting tools. There were two Lion Dance troupe wandering about on the streets of Kumbang Pasang giving blessings to the shops around that area.

It's been a week that the Chinese Community in Brunei celebrated the arrival of the new year of the Ox a conservative year, one of traditions and values and a slow and steady year. It is also believed by the Chinese that this ox year will bring stability and growth where patience and diligence pays off.

I used to be scared to this lion dance (mythical creature) thing back when i was a kid. =p I like it when the Lion moves around wildly and with attitude. They're so cute especially when it moves its little tail which symbolize that its happy.

The Drummer, plays an important role in any Lion Dance Show. This symbolizes the awakening of the lion. Just like the Snake Cobra being tamed by its musician, the lion, dances to the beats of the drums.

So, when the Lion is really awake and hyper, it will basically wander around and hunting for food around it. Usually, if you have noticed or if you ever wonder why theres a green vegetable (cabbage) attached with the red packet, it is to give them more energy for them to wander about the area and vanish all the evil spirits or bad lucks.
